Pat’s Ultimate Golf Tournament 2017

On October 16th, 2017 Pat’s Auto Service Center did just that! But this was not
just any old Golf outing! 88 participants and many more volunteers showed up to
make Pat’s Annual Ultimate Golf Tournament a reality, which was graciously
hosted by the folks at Pine Valley Country Club.

Participants matched their strokes and skills against one another in friendly
competition, but also did so knowing that every single penny would go towards
charity for the Lower Cape Fear Hospice.

The work the faculty and staff at Hospice do for our loved ones in their hours
of greatest need, what they do for our community, is truly a heroic feat. To give
them a helping hand, the Pat’s Tournament was in no short supply of charitable
events; from longest drive contests, to putting contests.

After the tournament was played and the winners announced, participants sat
down to a generous dinner and tried their luck in our raffle! All sorts of
items were raffled off; the grand prizes being a custom surfboard and a year’s
worth of automotive service from yours truly! But the true prize was that a heroic
$27,000 dollars was raised for Hospice, smashing all previous expectations!

To all our winners, and to all those who participated, Pat’s could not have
done this without you! So, give yourselves a PAT on the back; the Pat’s family
thanks you and your community thanks you too!
